Maybe you’ve built up credit just like me. Regardless of the reason, Audible members with monthly plans can suspend their account every 12 months. That interval can be between one and three months. This feature is not available for membership plans that do not earn credits.

How To Pause Your Audible Subscription Without Losing Your Credits
Credits can be used to purchase Audible products. An item costs an amount of money or one credit. So, how can you get more credit?
A credit is a nice thing – they usually pay the full price of paying for the content, except that the price of an audiobook is less than another credit. More on this later. The easiest way to get more credits on Audible is to upgrade to the Premium Plus plan.
Unlike services like Spotify, Audible doesn’t have a free plan. Even Amazon Prime doesn’t provide free access to Audible. There is an option to try Audible Plus and Audible Premium Plus for free for 30 days, but after the trial period you will not be able to use the app.
Audible’s basic plan, Audible Plus, costs $7.95 per month, while Audible Premium Plus – 1 credit will set you back $14.95 and Audible Premium Plus – 2 credits $22.95. The first one gives you no credit, while the next subscription gets you one credit per month. To receive the credit, you must upgrade to an Audible Premium Plus subscription.

If you choose the Audible Premium Plus Annual plan – 12 Credits for $149.50 per year, Audible allows you to receive 12 credits at a time. This plan will save you 16% of your monthly payment. In addition to being cheap, the advantage is that you can use up to 12 credits whenever you want. If you want more credits, go for the Audible Premium Plus Annual Plan – 24 Credits per year for $229.50.
Of course, if you’re an avid audiobook listener, credit per month or 12 years may not be enough. In this case, you may want to get some extra credits. Luckily, there’s a way to buy extra credits, no matter what Audible plan you’re currently on.
To do this, you must be an active Audible member and on the same plan for at least 30 days. In addition, you should not have credit at the time of purchase.
The UK version of Audible allows you to buy three additional credits at once. That’s £6 per credit, for a total of £18.

Unfortunately, the additional credits option does not apply to Audible Canada. The only way to purchase additional credits on Audible in Canada is to switch to a US account (Audible.com) and cancel your Audible Canada account.
Contact the Audible.ca support team to cancel your account. Audible US offers better support, membership promotions, offers, more flexibility, and an overall better experience.
Audible India does not allow the purchase of additional credits beyond the monthly credit subscription option on Audible Premium. However, it allows you to save up to six unused credits for future use.
Plus, if you use up all of your monthly credits, you can buy more audiobooks for 30% off their list price. The service also allows you to exchange audiobooks for free if you don’t like them.
How To Remove A Credit Card From Audible (2020)
The same rules apply here as with iOS devices. Use the Audible website and look for the option to buy 3 Additional Credits.
You can’t buy Audible credits with Amazon, even though Audible is Amazon’s audiobook service. However, Audible audiobooks are available on Amazon, which means you can purchase an Amazon eGift card and use it to purchase Audible content available on Amazon.
Search Amazon for gift cards, but not before checking if the Audible content you’re looking for is available on Amazon itself.
Although purchasing additional credits on Audible is available on your Audible account, you will not be able to do so through the Audible app on your device, as the app syncs with your Audible account.

You can also give loans to someone else. You can send one, three, six or 12 credits to someone, and they will also receive the Catalog Plus feature. Gifts can be sent by email or printed.
An Amazon eGift Card cannot be used to directly purchase Audible credits. However, you can use an eGift card to purchase Audible content through Amazon.
Audible allows users in some countries to purchase three additional credits. In the United Kingdom, for example, it costs £ 18. The option is not available in all countries. However, before you sign up to buy more Audible credits, check if you can transfer to another Audible domain. For example, Canadians can use the American version, which makes it possible to buy three additional credits.
The easiest way to get credits on Audible would be to sign up for the Premium Plus plan on Audible. This allows you to get credit every month that you can use for up to a year after registration. You don’t need to do anything inside the app; credits are added automatically.

No you can’t. You can buy Audible content without an Amazon membership, but you won’t have access to credits without a membership. The Audible Plus plan does not give you monthly credits, but some countries can purchase additional credits with this membership plan. Audible Premium Plus gives you one credit or twelve credits per month.
