The new Bissell CrossWave Pet Pro looks and cleans hair a little better than its predecessor. Although we’re looking at essentially the same device here as the 1785, there are a few minor updates that make a difference. To start, we look for a thick roller that can handle long strands of hair regardless of their origin (pet or human). We have a small plastic filter that comes with the dirt tank which helps clean the tank faster and the warranty is also extended with the new model. Overall, I think the CrossWave is a great machine that got a little facelift with the Pet Pro version.

However, I recently came across the new version of Pet Pro and knew I had to check out this hybrid cleaner and see if it was worth the upgrade. As promised, today we take a look at the Bissell CrossWave Pet Pro, which vacuums and cleans at the same time. This highly versatile machine has a lot to offer and I couldn’t resist giving you a detailed overview of its features so you can see how well it suits your needs.
Just before starting the research and testing, I thought that what should differentiate it from its big brother is the function of a pet hair vacuum cleaner, as its name suggests. In other words, it should prevent pet hair from getting tangled in the brush. The first thing I noticed about the Pet Pro version is that it has a unique brush roller that is capable of cleaning a wide variety of floors. There’s a lot more to talk about, so stick with me because in the next three minutes you’re going to learn about vacuums:
Since vacuum cleaners simultaneously suck dirt and clean surfaces, it is not enough to judge its cleaning ability based on suction power alone. So let’s talk about the campaign. Both of these factors come into play when it comes to cleaning, as the machine also works as a carpet cleaner (although don’t expect the same cleaning power). In terms of suction power, the Pet Pro reaches 100-150 AW. This is enough to effectively collect dirt, including garbage that is difficult to collect. For movement, the Pet Pro brush roller reaches 3,000 revolutions per minute, which is enough to clean different floors. This means you can use this vacuum cleaner on hard floors as well as low pile floors. This model brush roller is specially designed for use on a wide palette of surfaces with excellent results.
The CrossWave Pet Pro’s motor draws 4.4 amps to drive the device and is the same as the previous version. It is quite efficient, considering that the power is used both to rotate the brush roller and to provide suction. Consumes 600 watts. This power is sufficient for normal cleaning.
